HDL‐C indicates high‐density lipoprotein cholesterol; LDL, low‐density lipoprotein cholesterol; HCV, hepatitis C virus. Bars on each column reflect the 95% CIs. HIV/HCV‐coinfected individuals had lower levels of total cholesterol, LDL‐C, and HDL‐C compared with both HIV‐infected individuals and controls. Triglycerides were highest among individuals with HIV infection only and lowest in controls.
