Mice in group D had a significantly decreased number of inflammatory cells that had infiltrated into pulmonary parenchyma and into the nasal mucosa compared with groups B and C. The thickness of the respiratory epithelium was significantly decreased in group D after exposure to chronic hypergravity. Group A is the control group, group B is the asthma group, group C is the asthma/rotatory control group, and group D is the asthma/hypergravity group. **Significant difference from group A, p < 0.01; ***significant difference from group A, p < 0.001 (Kruskal-Wallis and Mann-Whitney U tests).
