MMV Malaria Box compounds are identified as potent malaria exoerythrocytic-stage inhibitors: 36 exoerythrocytic-stage active MMV Malaria Box hits with a Pb-Luc IC₅₀ of less than 10 μM are shown with their respective IC₅₀ values. Hits were also selected to demonstrate a HepG2 IC₅₀ and a Luc IC₅₀ of more than 10 μM. A line at 1 μM highlights that almost half of the exoerythrocytic-stage active hits display nanomolar potency.
