Identical results were obtained from three independent experiments, for which a representative example is shown. (B) Dark-induced senescence. Rosette leaves from 4-week-old wild type (WT) and u11-48k mutants were floated on water in the dark for 4 d. (C) Chlorophyll content in the leaves of each plant was measured 4 d after dark-induced senescence.
