The values of pEC₅₀ (negative logarithm of the concentration of agonist required to elicit a response halfway between the baseline and maximum responses) and E_max, (maximal drug effect on [³⁵S]GTPγS binding baseline expressed as a percentage of that produced by 10 μM (+)8-OH-DPAT) were estimated using nonlinear regression analysis.
