(A) EMSA assays. Ms4022p or Ms4121p were co-incubated with various amount of Ms4022 protein as indicated. Ms4022 bound to Ms4022p, but not to Ms4121p, and form stable DNA/protein complexes. (B) EMAS assays for the specific binding of Ms4022 with Ms4022p. Unlabeled specific Ms4022 promoter and unspecific Ms4121 promoter were used to compete with the labeled Ms4022 promoter.
