(a) Transplantation of total BM cells from MxCre⁺hnRNPL^wt/fl or MxCre⁺hnRNPL^fl/fl mice into irradiated syngenic CD45.1⁺ recipient mice. Ten weeks post-transplantation reconstitution was tested and mice were injected five times every other day with 500μg of pIpC and analyzed 14 days later. The frequency of CD45.2⁺ cells and absolute cells numbers were quantified for progenitors and HSCs in the BM (n = 4). (b) Competitive transplantation of total BM cells from MxCre⁺hnRNPL^wt/fl or MxCre⁺hnRNPL^fl/fl mice mixed with wt CD45.1⁺ BM cells at a ratio of 1:1 for a total of 2 × 10⁶ cells into irradiated syngenic CD45.1⁺ recipient mice and treated the same as the mice in A.
