Relative mRNA expression of (a) PPARα- and -γ and (b) PXR and CAR in five uninfected individuals and four HIV-1-infected, treated individuals assessed using quantitative real-time PCR. The results are expressed as mean relative mRNA expression ± SEM normalized to the housekeeping gene GAPDH.
