Effect of Acetylcholine on forearm vascular conductance in women using oral contraceptives. (Control, n = 6; Oral contraceptive, n = 8) Acetylcholine infusion resulted in a dose-dependent increase in vascular conductance (p < 0.001). The rise in vascular conductance from baseline with Acetylcholine infusion was greater in women taking oral contraceptives when compared to controls (p = 0.006).
