AML-12 cells were transfected with SCR siRNAs or MIF siRNAs. 48 hours later, cells were treated with LPS for another 6 hours or CCl₄ for another 3 hours. The mRNA (a) and protein (b) expressions of MIF were detected to confirm the efficiency of MIF knockdown. (c,d) MCP-1 mRNA expression were evaluated by real-time RT-PCR. (e) AML-12 cells were treated by 100 ng/mL mouse re-combinational MIF (rMIF) for 6 hours. MCP-1 mRNA expression were detected by real-time RT-PCR.
