(a,b) Under the illumination of RCP light at the wavelength of 640 nm, the scattered LCP light forms a real focal line on the transmission side at z = f, while it forms a virtual focal point on the incident side at z = −f. (c,d) If the incident/detected light are changed to LCP/RCP, a real focal point and a virtual focal line are observed at z = f and z = −f, respectively. The scale bar in the figure is 100 μm.
