Predictions for the two hypotheses concerning the mechanism of relative disparities, depending on the presence or absence of the absolute disparity anomaly and on the size of the vergence noise. T̂_abs is the measured absolute disparity threshold, T̂_rel is the measured relative disparity threshold, and σ_verg is the measured vergence noise using the Nonius line technique.
