In the age groups <1 and 1–7 years no significant differences in HBsAg prevalence between studied regions were observed. In age groups 8–14 and 15–19 HBsAg prevalence was significantly higher in Tyva Republic compared to other regions. In the age groups 20–29 and, 30–39 HBsAg rates were significantly higher in Tyva Republic and Khabarovsk region than those in other regions. In the groups > 60 years HBsAg prevalence in Tyva Republic was significantly higher than in Moscow region, Khabarovsk region and Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
