Immunohistochemistry for phosphorylated p70S6 kinase was performed on paraffin-embedded ovarian tissue clinical samples from a range of ovarian tumours. Three areas of tissue were analysed for percentage of positively stained cells. No significant change was seen between individual stage of disease; however a significant difference was detected between early and late stage disease [(p=0.0461 (A)].
