DCFH-DA detection of ROS in L-02 (a) and Hep G2 (b) cells treated with X-ray radiation. Cells were plated in triplicate, pretreated with protein or amifostine, and incubated with DCFH-DA for 1 h in PBS at 37°C. After incubation, the cells were rinsed in PBS and irradiated at a dose of 4 Gy. The fluorescence intensity of irradiated samples was observed within 10 min using a fluorescent microscopy.
