Male [C57BL/6 × FVB]F1 TRAMP mice (16 weeks of age) were allowed to spontaneously develop PC and injected with glipizide (5 mg/kg) or DMSO (control) once every three days for 8 weeks. After the mice were sacrificed, the GU tracts were harvested and weighed. (A) The images show the representative gross appearance of the GU tracts from TRAMP mice treated with glipizide and DMSO. (B) There is a significant difference between the relative GU weights of glipizide- or DMSO-treated tumors.
