(A–D) Animals received a single s.c. injection of LPS (1.5 μg) into the amniotic sac at 15.5 dpc. Mice were considered to be in labor after the birth of one pup. LPS treatment increased the expression of miR-144 (A) c-fos, and COX2 at the mRNA (B,C) and protein (D) levels. The data are presented as the mean ± SEM. Student’s t-test was used to calculate statistical significance. *P < 0.05, n = 5 mice per treatment group.
