(A–D) WISH cells were treated with 10 nM E₂ and harvested 24 h later. E₂ treatment increased miR-144 (A) c-fos, and COX2 mRNA (B,C) and protein (D) levels. (E–H) Animals received a single s.c. injection of E₂ (1 μg) into the amniotic sac at 15.5 dpc. Amniotic tissues were harvested 24 h later. E₂ treatment increased miR-144 (E) c-fos, and COX2 mRNA (F,G) and protein (H) levels. The data are presented as the mean ± SD values.
