A standard t‐test was performed and miRNA were considered represented differently if absolute log10(RQ) > 1 and P‐value < 0·05 (P‐values are shown in the table). Two miRNAs were identified: miR‐222 and miR‐483‐5p. (c) Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis of CC‐associated miRNAs and ROC curve analysis combined with the altered miRNAs. Fraction of true positive results (sensitivity) and false positive results (1‐specificity) for levels of miRNA are shown. ROC curves were obtained using logistic regression, and the area under the curve (AUC) was calculated using the Epicalc package. AUC was considered significant if > 0·70.
