A) GFP-MyMOMA (824-970) and GFP-Myo19 T2 (853-935) colocalize with Mitotracker-labeled mitochondria, in HeLa cells. T1 (824-852) and T3 (936-970) do not localize to mitochondria. Scale bar is 10μm. All images were captured under identical imaging conditions. Overlays contain the GFP-label (green), Mitotracker label (red), and phalloidin label (blue). B) Quantification of mitochondrial localization by calculation of the mito/cyto ratio indicates that GFP-MyMOMA and GFP-T2 show concentration of fluorescence signal on the mitochondria when compared to cytosol.
