The MDA-MB-231 breast cancer tumor-bearing mice were injected intravenously with the equivalent amount of VLP-Cy5.5 or LXY30-VLP-Cy5.5. The tumor sites are indicated by white arrow bars. The optical imaging was obtained using Kodak multimodal imaging system IS2000MM equipped with an excitation bandpass filter at 625 nm and an emission at 700 nm.
