Combined effect of increasing mesophyll CO₂ conductance (g_m) and stomatal speed (α_g) on daily water use efficiency (WUE). Values of g_m = 0.3 was increased from −40 to 500% and α_g was varied in a set of 15 values and the figure present daily simulation result. Other climatic data were extracted from the 2 days measurement data presented in Figure 1 and all other parameter values are summarized in Tables 1, 2.
