Succinate production, sugar consumption and biomass of YL104H in artificial sugar mixture (A) and xylose mother liquor (B) under aerobic, microaerobic and anaerobic whole-phase fermentations. The xylose mother liquor contained approximately 300 g/L xylose and 100 g/L glucose, and 50 g/L glucose was added to adjust the glucose: xylose ratio at 1:2.
