The helix pair classes conserved kinked (CK), conserved straight (CS), not conserved (NC) and other are defined in Fig 1. The frequency of proline in each class is given as a percentage of the total number of pairs. PP: proline in both helices; P-: proline in the helix with the larger kink angle; -P: proline in the helix with the smaller kink angle; - -: proline in neither helix. All percentages are rounded to one decimal place.
