Flow cytometry is a rapid, reliable method for measuring Bcl‐2/Bax ratios. Bcl‐2 and Bax expression determined for 5 patients was not different (P = .30) by flow cytometry (mean ± standard deviation, 0.7 ± 0.27), quantitative RT‐PCR (QRT‐PCR) (2.35 ± 2.85), and Western blot (1.05 ± 0.61), but flow cytometry offers a rapid measurement and revealed less deviation of results.
