Primary hippocampal neurons were transfected with varying amounts of pCAGGs plasmid encoding a ClFP-tagged wild type Tmods. A. From left to right, representative images of transfected neurons. Shown images are RFP signals from mRFP-MAP2b used for morphology analysis (scale bars = 150 µm). B. Imaged neurons were analyzed for number of primary dendrites (left), dendritic termini (center) and total dendritic length (right). 25–30 neurons were analyzed for each condition. Error bars indicate SEM. Asterisks indicated statistically significant difference from 0 ng condition (ANOVA, P < 0.05).
