Interaction of Partner Risk and Message Frame. Compared to baseline and the gain-framed message conditions, the loss-framed message was associated with significantly weaker intentions to have sex with high-risk sexual partners (p < .001). There were no significant differences in participants' intentions to have sex with low-risk partners (p = .43). The graph also illustrates the main effect of Partner Risk, with significantly weaker intentions to have sex with high-risk partners than with low-risk partners (p < .001).
