Effects of SDF-1α and melittin on EPC adhesion and migration. EPCs were divided into four groups: Control (untreated), 10 ng/ml SDF-1α, 1 µg/ml melittin + 10 ng/ml SDF-1α, and 3 µg/ml melittin + 10 ng/ml SDF-1α. (A) Following 2 h of treatment, adhesion of EPCs was determined (magnification, ×100). (B) Following 6 h of treatment, migration of EPCs was determined by Transwell migration assay (magnification, ×200).
