Levels of total immunoglobulin G (IgG) in paired maternal and umbilical cord blood samples. A, There was positive correlation between levels of total IgG in the maternal and newborn samples (Pearson r = 0.329; P < .0001). B, There was a significant negative correlation between levels of maternal total IgG and the transfer ratio (TR) of total IgG to the newborn (Pearson r = −0.550; P < .0001).
