Characterization of the male PABPC2 knockout mice. (A) Fertility of male mice. Ten-week-old wild-type (WT) and PABPC2 knockout (KO) males were mated with 8-week-old C57BL/6 females. Two different KO males were fertile, and the pups born were counted (seven litters). (B) Testicular weight. Testicular tissues of 13-week-old WT and KO mice were weighted (n = 6). (C) Histological analysis. Testicular and epididymal slices were stained with hematoxylin and eosin and examined under a microscope. The scale bar is 50 μm. (D) Sperm morphology.
