Anatomical reconstruction and CFD model of the nasal airway of the bobcat. (A,B) High-resolution (80 μm isotropic) MRI scans of the head of a bobcat cadaver were acquired and used to reconstruct (C) a three-dimensional anatomical model of the left nasal airway. (D) A computational mesh was then generated from the anatomical model and used in a CFD simulation of respiratory airflow in the nose.
