Internal core: high density braided membrane; Outer shell: low density, porous, anisotropic scaffold, with the potential of being seeded by cells. The core was inserted in dry condition into the lumen of the shell (tubular), leaving the extremities of the core module stacked out from the tube, in order to ensure a straightforward suture procedure during surgical operation.
