(B) Overlap of the genes found to be important for the adaptation of Pseudomonas aeruginosa to the PCD airways, and genes found important for the adaptation to CF airways in three other studies: Smith (2006)16, Marvig (2013)15, and Marvig (2015)17. It should also be noted, that even though the genes lasR and mucA are not on the pathoadaptive gene list of Marvig (2013)15, they were found to have been mutated in all isolates; however, the mutations had happened in an ancestor isolate.
