Ultraviolet-visible (UV) spectral changes of hydroxypyridone-bearing nucleoside triphosphate (dHTP) at various concentrations of MgII ions. dHTP: 100 µM, MgII: 0, 0.1, 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, 5.0, 10, 20, 50, and 100 mM, in 25 mM MOPS (3-(N-morpholino)propanesulfonic acid) buffer (pH = 7.0), l = 0.1 cm, at room temperature.
