The enzyme was pre-incubated for 2 and 5 h with different organic solvents (30%, v/v) while shaking (150 rpm) at 30 °C and assayed under standard assay conditions. The stability of the lipase was calculated by comparing the residual activity with that of the control, which was incubated without the organic solvent and whose enzyme activity was taken as 100%. The standard deviation for all the values is <±5.0%.
