Expression of mRNA of CAT-1, CAT-2A, CAT-2B, and iNOS in ICBs with semiquantitative RT-PCR. The RNA was isolated under control conditions (Ctrl), in rats treated with LPS (LPS), and rats pretreated with low-dose bortezomib (VL) or high-dose bortezomib (VH). LPS induced the expression of iNOS, CAT-2A, and CAT-2B mRNA in the ICBs of EIU rats. Pretreatment with bortezomib decreased their expression (a, c, and d).
