Complex correlation mapping image of the human retina. cmOCA (b, d) with multiple polarization channels, as described in Section 4.2, exhibits lower spurious noise than (a, c) single-channel estimation with a coherent composite signal. The cross sections (a, b) and en-face slices (c, d) are taken from the locations indicated by the black arrows. Both cmOCAs used the same kernel size.
