Serum triacylglycerol, total cholesterol and free fatty acid were expressed as mmol l−1, whereas progesterone, corticosterone and insulin were expressed as nmol l−1, μmol l−1 and mIU l−1, respectively.
Significant differences were conducted between treatment-alone and NC groups.
