Experimental protocol. Mice were assigned at random to one of the following groups (N = 5 mice per group). For evaluations of MN, all animals were sampled before administering treatments (0 h) and at 24, 48, and 72 h after treatments. As for apoptosis and cell viability only at 48 h samples after treatments were taken. ^∗The antioxidants were administrated 4 h before the injection of V₂O₅.
