(A–D) Northern blotting was used to compare the levels of specific ncRNAs in virions (lane 4) with their levels in an arbitrary amount of cellular RNA (lane 2). As controls, we examined RNA from uninfected cells (lane 1) and from the culture media of these cells (lane 3).
