Metal ion release from the CoCr abutment group. Ion release for titanium (Ti), cobalt (Co), chromium (Cr), and molybdenum (Mo) from implants connected to cobalt–chrome abutments after static immersion for 1 week in 1% lactic acid solution. The results are expressed as mean concentration in parts per billion (ppb, × 10⁻⁹)±standard deviation n=6 per group (*P<0.05).
