Venus fusion to TnpA has no effect on transposase activity. Mean blue vs. yellow fluorescence behavior of pJK14-ISLAG (black line) compared with that of pJK14-ISLAGMin (red points; Ncells = 69,868), a version of the TE with no Venus tag on the transposase.
