Chrysophanic acid-induced cell death exhibits features of necrotic cell death. (A) The cell death index (%) was analyzed by flow cytometry after treatment with chrysophanic acid (1, 5, 10, or 20 μM) for 24 hours. Cells were stained with fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC) conjugated anti-Annexin V antibody and propidium iodide. (B) The cell death index (%) was plotted after statistical analysis.
