Right: Histograms of all note and gap durations. The durations of all 5006 notes ranged from 26 to 256 ms (134 ± 60 ms; mean ± std). Of all gaps, 4456 were within song chunks and had durations between 6 and 288 ms (43 ± 23 ms; mean ± std). Of those, 305 were either considered outliers or were part of gap types that had a high mean duration and large variance (dark gray and light gray points, respectively). Excluding those, the remaining gap durations ranged from 6 to 88 ms (38 ± 12 ms; mean ± std).
