Effect of silymarin on migration of human non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) cells. Treatment of A549, H1299 and H460 NSCLC cells with silymarin (0, 5, 10 and 20 µg/mL) for 24 h inhibited the migration of the cells in a concentration-dependent manner. A. Representative photomicrographs of the Millipore filters used in the cell migration assays for each treatment group are shown. Migratory cells appear purple-blue. B. The number of migratory cells were counted on each photomicrograph for each treatment group and data are summarized as the mean number of migrating cells ± SD.
