Intracellular localization of LdRab5a and LdRab5b in L. donovani. L. donovani overexpressing GFP-LdRab5a (A) and GFP-LdRab5b (B) were stained with various compartment-specific markers, like FM4-64 (16 μm) for flagellar pocket, 5-min internalized Alexa Fluor-594 Hb, and 10-min internalization of dextran-Texas Red for early endosome, LysoTracker Red (100 nm) for lysosome, and Bodipy-TR ceramide (500 nm) for Golgi. Finally, cells were visualized under a confocal microscope. Results are representative of three independent observations. Arrow indicates colocalization.
