Amyloid-β oligomers induce COX-2 expression in hippocampal neurons in a COX-2 dependent manner. Primary rat hippocampal neurons were stimulated with amyloid-β 42 oligomers and/or SC-236 for 8 h and expression was assayed by quantitative PCR.
