Figure 2. siRNA specifically targeting FOXM1 inhibits FOXM1 expression in both MDA-MB-231 and BT-20 cells.

Cells were transfected with 50 nM FOXM1#1 or FOXM1#2 siRNA or control siRNAs. Total RNA was isolated 72 h after transfection, and FOXM1 mRNA levels were determined by RT-PCR. The two different FOXM1 siRNAs significantly inhibited the expression of FOXM1 mRNA in both MDA-MB-231 (A, B) and BT-20 (C, D) cells. FOXM1#1 siRNA inhibited FOXM1-C, and FOXM1#2 siRNA suppressed FOXM1-B. GAPDH expression was used as a control.
