Knockdown of FOXM1 by siRNA (50 nM) significantly inhibited colony formation in both MDA-MB-231 (A) and BT-20 (B) cells. Cell colonies were stained with crystal violet and the colonies-area distribution regions were measured densitometrically at the end of the two weeks. The histograms show the percentages of the formed colonies. Data is expressed as mean of percentages of colony formation ± SD of three independent experiments. *represents significant difference between indicated groups.
