Cells were non-treated or treated with acidic bile salts (200 μM, pH 4.0) for 30 min followed by recovery in complete media for 3 h, and subjected to Annexin V/PI staining. Annexin V/PI staining of control adenovirus or APE1 adenovirus infected OE33 cells (A) and FLO-1 cells stably expressing control shRNA or APE1 shRNA (B). The results are representative of three independent experiments.
